partying,girls etc....

I have a few questions to ask, any info will be greatly appreciated. Me and a buddy of miine are going to Puerto Plata November 1st.
1.)I'm black and italaian (malato) light skin with long dreadlocks and my buddy is korean (looks kind of like Bruce Lee),do you think a lot of women will be into us? Do you think the locals will have a problem with us? Will we REALLY stick out?
2.)Can you get weed out there?
3.)IsPuerto Plata a good party place to meet women & drink all day? (I'm staying at the HACIENDA HOTEL RESORT)

They might sound like stupid questions but I got to know....you don't know how bad I'm looking foward to this.

You wont have any trouble finding local women to party with. Weed, I havent seen any and i've been going to DR for seven years. Also I hear thats its not tolerated and could land you in trouble, not worth the risk in my opinion. It's not a great pick up scene as far as tourists go but Im sure youll have a great time. Thanks Chris....I wanted to write basically the same thing but any time I even attempt to give any advice my post gets deleted. Wonder if this will. In any case, ditto what Chris said. Also just curious Domion, have you seen the classic movie "Midnight Express"? May want to watch it before deciding on drugs in another country.

You might wanna check out Jamaica instead, where weed is in abundance and your dreadlocks won't stick you out so much. As far as your Korean friend is concerned, tell everyone that he is Japanese. Hell, even I can't tell the difference.

Thanks for all the feed back..I did'nt mean to offend anybody..I am sorry, a couple of people who live out there for the summers told about the girls..I guess they don't know what they're talking about.As for the weed I was just asking....

Please do not buy drugs there, the only dealers that you will find, usually they are policeman..so, please don't take any chances! For the girls, they are right you know, they are not waiting for you, but for your money, you can find a nice girl down there, but don't look in the bars! Or just hang out with a tourist, it would be better for you! And if you want to party, of course you can party in Puerto Plata. I hope you will have fun and just be careful!
