Odd irony: Hipolito's speech unseen by many...

President Hipolito Mejia's speech that gave considerable focus to the health and good prospects of the Dominican economy was not seen by many Dominicans because of the ongoing power outages. Many will have to rely on the usual newspaper transcript reprints.

To his credit, he appeared sincere but somewhat over-rehearsed. Smaller eyeglasses would do wonders for his on-screen appearence.
