Already met a friend with friends that lost people

Small world, but a lot of us here will be going to church to maurn the loss of one of our friend's relatives....Just too small a country..

Although I selfishly pray that nobody I know was killed in the tragedy sooner or later I'll meet someone who did. At least 255 people died, but that number means nothing untill you think of each person and his/her family, then it simply becomes 255 deaths too many to cope with.

I hope the families of those lost souls sue the pants off AA!!
They have been very, very lack in "preventive maintenance." Nobody can say that they have done what they are supposed to do - besides sit around talking, drinking coffee - or whatever. If the job had been done, these things would not happen - PERIOD.

There was an important job to be done and EVERYBODY was asked to do it. EVERYBODY was sure SOMEBODY would do it. ANYBODY could have done it, but NOBODY did it. Too many precious lives cut short. I understand from looking at CNN news that over 40% of the passengers were Dominican. I am praying for all the passengers of all nationalities. My heart is heavy.

e&m, do understand that my comment is offered not as a criticism but as a request for compassion. this is a very sad time for many, many people, including somebody, nobody,etc. who happen to be co-workers of the 9 flight crew members. although your anger and fright at these horrible deaths is understandable, inflammatory remarks do nothing to help people in their grief. please let all the facts be determined first.

Ed and Mame; Before you go pointing fingers....Please let the truth come out as to who is the blame, as I'm sure the maintenece workers are very much feeling very bad right now...hoping that it is not thier mistake....if in fact that is what is was.....so please be sure, before pointing fingers....as I'm sure they are all wondering if they did thier jobs right....and I'm sure that is a very heavy wieght, not only for them, but also thier families and everyone else involved.

Jesus!! Why don't you wait to find out the cause of the crash before you start talking lawsuits?

Guys, most people in here know me as a kind, concerned, compassionate person but... oh, man! I'm just so terrified, frieghtened out of my head - and at that moment I was also very furious ... you know how one can get - like panic? I'm sorry you didn't approve of my post - please understand that, well, I'm just so, so heartbroken over all the recent events all over the world - I just blew up I guess. Sorry ... you are all right in your responses ... I'm "beside myself" but will get a grip real soon because that's what we're supposed to do. Can do.
