Would like to chat with people in the DR

Please send me some site(s) or chat rooms, with people in the Dominican Republic. I've always wanted to inquire if their was actually internet service in DR. I have notice on some posting that codetel is the internet carrier. El Moreno_Negro.....

You can always chat to us on here. Some are in the DR and the rest of us are spread out over the rest of the world. We all share a love for the Dominican Republic and her people.

Thanks Carol! We need to come together just as we came together as Americans on Sept 11th. That day brought tremendous sorrow and pain, and now a tragedy has hit our Dominican community, so let us put our differences a side and help our Dominican families cope with this tragic event.

It all started a long time ago on DR1 where a bunch of us were having a friendly argument about something, but it was clogging up the board, and it was either something that a new visitor wouldnt understand, or completely unrelated to the D.R., and the only thing in common is that all the arguers had been to the D.R.

The friendly editors of DR1 suggested we take it elsewhere, so one of the perpetrators established a place to either continue threads that either were not directly related to DR1's mission or embarrasing to DR1 as a respectable business.

On the other hand, it allowed some of the(both real and self deluded) "experts" to get away from amazing questions like: "I will visiting the Dominican Republic in July. Will it be hot?"
