I am a Dominican born native with American citizenship. I can't begin to express how hard this is for me...to see my people going through so much pain. When the horrific events of the WTC tragedy took place the world was horrofied and overwhelmed with emotions. We haven't yet recuparated from that attack and now we have to deal with this terrible loss. I cried almost every night for 2 or 3 weeks after the WTC tragedy...just by seeing the horrible footage on the differente news network but when I see footage of my people crying in despair in their homes in Dominican Republic, at the Aeropuerto Internacional de las Americas Dr. José Francisco Peña Gómez and in their homes here in the US it truely breaks my heart. My heart goes out to each and every person who lost a loved one in this horrible incidente. The victims will always be in my prayers. I think these are trials of God...and we should become stronger, love and help each other and live as one. God bless the Dominican Republic. Que Dios bendiga a mi tierra "Quisqueya la Bella".
