Default ˇ Hey Dominican Rob One !

What about my idea I submitted below. That would solve all your problems żno? You have done it already with the business board. It wouldn't take up more bandwidth, and it would maintain traffic and hits. You could make a new board and kick all the rowdies over there, but it would be easier to make the new board g-rated, or at least PG. Most of the rowdies would probably respect the tame board as they seem to respect the business one.

Most first time posters will be loath to sign up for a password and whatnot, terrified that you will use it for marketing purposes, or simply unwilling to go through the hassle. If all they want is a simple question answered most people will not enter that information. If you get tired of seeing the same old names here then you will have even less new people.

You can spend less time redacting the g-rated board because people will limit their discourse and no time redacting this one, the free discussion forum. You still will get the benefit of the widest possible audience, the board remains user friendly to the casual viewer who has a simple question, you won't have to start administering a password database and you won't have to start answering as many questions as you used to because the experienced people won't get bored and go elsewhere.

If you make it harder to post or clamp down your board will lose it's personality and flavor and end up appearing like some pablum put out by the "Orlando Convention and Visitors Bureau."
