Default Believe me, a lot of people have done that

That is why that place is an educational joke...and was closed down a few years ago until politics got it opened again.
You pays your money and gets your degree, IMO..

Hey Cejay: You can buy a degree anywhere in the world, specially in discredited San Pedro universities, but the problem is that with your atrocious English you would not be able to land a job in Cutupu.

You're late Chriss, I think he's about as toasted as he can get. Had to bring his wife into it when he could no longer defend himself.

Default BEEN THERE DONE THAT

What these poor people seem to forget Hillbilly is that the M.D. degree looks great on the wall....HOWEVER, it means absolutely NOTHING unless YOU HAVE A LICENSE TO GO BESIDE IT. I won't go thru the rigors of getting a license but be assured, to pass, you must have studied medicine and studied well. And now you will say oh....I will just buy the license to go with it....My friends, I have just been thru the Dominican process of a medical license and let me say they are well aware of scams and fraud and they have set up a fool proof system that I defy anyone to "buy" a license without the proper documentations. You have to go thru TEN DIFFERENT government organizations that must evaluate and review and pass on your license application. A medical license in the U.S. or Canada is worse.
So, go out and "buy" you and M.D. degree, about all you can do with it is wallpaper your bathroom!

the reason we thought about coming is because of the sept. 11th bombing, my wife's mom, dad and family are scared for her to live here. we we got married her father never wanted her to live here but i"m american so it would be much easlier for us to live life here but now i"m not so sure and the econmony is really bad right now in the states and her mom and dad call almost everyday scared to death and begging us to move there. her dad thinks everything can be made possible with money but that isn't true. i don't want to rely on her family money because we are grown and need our own jobs and income. i mean i love santo dominigo and her family and the store offer was great from her mom but i'm not really into owning a store for kids because that is not really what i want to do for a living. we will just see what happends and pray to god that the states economy gets better and less terrorist living here. like i said, i have fun in the d.r. and love the people and miss all the family, party's and especially the food but i need a job to fill like i fit in and to raise a family in the d.r.
