Enough is enough
Cejay and Giselle, you made a mistake. You came in into an already built in community and posted a question. When you did not like your responses, you got offended and decided to respond in a very defensive way. The mistake was made when you started to say what you do, what you have, who you know, what makes you better, where you live, who your family is, etc. In reality, rather than trying to prove that you are a better person by going on and on about these characteristics you claim you posses and continuing to do so with such errors in your writing, I think your mission would have been accomplished if you had just simply let it go and asked your question again. Don't let a message board completely change the way you feel about Dominicans, and definitely don't let people who you will probably never meet get to you like this. Try to understand where TW, Loren and the rest are coming from, because I tell you one thing, nothing makes me more upset than to see a Latino, especially Dominican who does not speak or write Spanish well. I cannot stand to hear a Dominican say "I'm Dominican, my parents do not speak English and I don't know Spanish" that irritates me. I came to the USA when I was nine, and 15 years later, I dominate my native language and will continue to do so. The good thing is that you guys acknowledge your language flaws and are willing to learn, but just one little advice, in the process you probably should not argue and compete with those who can teach you. I'm sorry I cannot help you with your situation, if I had an answer for you, I would definitely advise and make suggestions. I wish you both the best of luck. As far as Sarah Irene goes, honey, you claim you are only 15, then act 15 and try to respect your elders. Because of the way they "attacked you" I bet you look twice at your grammar before posting...that means you became aware of a writing problem you may have. Best regards,
Ana Maria (Green-Pea, AnaBanana)
