Caribbean Nation Summit
This week in the Island of Margarita Venezuela, 18 heads of state of Caribbean Nations will meet. President Mejia will be there. Among other issues, they will vote on the Embargo against Cuba by the USA. I wonder how Hippo will vote considering the relationship he has with the USA and with Cuba. Recently, Cuba tried to purchase "chickens" from the DR to feed tourist in Cuba. The sale was not completed due in part that Cuba would not pay in US dollars and that the DR would not take Cuban pesos as payment.
It will be interesting to see the outcome of this meeting. What do you think ??
