I am writing you from the Netherlands Antilles and I am coming
next month to visit Sto Domingo (3rd time). I regularly hear overhere that auto parts there are a lot cheaper than here,so I am planning to adquire my auto-parts in Sto Domingo.
I am looking for the prize of a carburator for a 93'Mazada 323 "Hatchback"
The agency here is charging me $1000,(Us dollars) for this device.
Can somebody please tell me what prize can I expect in the DR.
and where can I find a good deal..

Call all of them and negotiate price. Let them know you got a price from the other so you can get better price. Used parts here vary a lot depending on who got it.

You should have no problem locating anything that you want for your car. Mazda parts are a little harder tofind, but they are plentiful. There is a company called Repuestos Asociados that specializes in used japanese car parts-at least in Santiago it does..
