We sent a birthday package, to a Dominican friend, from Madison, Wisconsin on September 1, 2001. The package had not arrived, as of this morning, in Puerta Plata. I assume that some Dominican postal worker is now sporting a new shirt and backpack.

Default Days, weeks, years, never....

My advice is if the package or letter is of some value, send it via courier, CPS or similar service.

On another note...

Friend of mine just shipped in 4 Dell servers, customs stole two and replaced them with building blocks.
Are they going to be disapointed when they try and configure them to run Windows :-)

I have received packages via Lynx Air, EPS and FedEx and never had a problem. My company has shipped 4 desktop computers and one laptop via FedEx and all arrived complete.

BUT, I ordered my son a new Game Boy Advance and had someone hand carry it to DR. I figured the temptation would be too great for such a small item.
