Default snow?

Buffalo, N.Y. and surrounding communities are shut down after receiving the most snowfall ever since Christmas. Almost 70 inches have fallen since the Holiday, closing down the city and airport. I know a lot of you in the DR. have never seen snow, and trust me you should be happy. Paradise and warm weather would be a nice change of pace right now, but I can't even fly out to get there. So I will put up with our usual weather here in the northeast and dream of the days when I return to the warmth and sunshine of the DR. Happy New Year and have a safe Holiday in Paradise!!!!!!!!!!!

72 inches since Christmas that is about 180 cm and another foot(30 cm) on the way. Cnn reports Buffalo is closed. I guess so.

It is so wierd how the winds blow this storm around. the buffalo airport reported 82" as of this morning. Most in any one month ever and they did it in basically 5 days. I work in Niagara Falls, maybe 20 miles from the airport. and there is only about 15" on the ground. I live another 10 miles north of that and I have maybe 4" in my yard. Go figure. One of the guys at work today was saying there was almost 30" different between his house and his brother's house only 5 miles apart.
