Henry is obviously going there
because he loves his family and wants to give it a try.
It will be a challenge regardless whether he succeeds or fails.
But if he succeeds, he will be a great asset to
his new homeland!Furthermore,he is young and has plenty of time to
change his mind and go anywhere in the future.
I am an American-European married to a wonderful Dominican
lady.It has been 2 years of happiness I have not experienced
in my entire life before.We shall find out in September whether
she can stay in the USA or not.If she cannot, I shall follow her
and spend my entire life in her homeland.

Very well said. Some things are more important than having everything made comfortable. The comfort of being in a "civilized" world rather than a "3rd" world country does not necessarily make a happy life.
I think the original settlers of America and other countries found this out..it was not easy living..it was a challenge..and challenges make life so much more, especially with your family and loved ones together.

For so far OK to all of you,
we, my wife and myself are still planning to move over to the DR.
and we'll do so when the time is there. it seems that no one has an idea ore good tip for a job, i cann't blame you for that but we will seriously try it and go for it! thanks a lot for the good advices i've got on my email adress and i'll let you know what's happened in the future, greetings Henry

Henry you want to make some money this is what you do!!

1. Buy your self a professinal polaroid instant camera.

2. find the perfect location (outside of a nightclub, tourist area, etc).

3.create a backdrop, background ( something beautifully painted)

4. You are now a photographer (photos in cardboard frame $5.00) ( You will make atleast $US300 a day) any questions write me mackhard@iwon.com
