Internet Cafes in Santo Domingo

Anyone know of an Internet Cafe or public internet access in Santo Domingo?? Thanks

there was one in the city, but when I went to check it out it had closed down. Many Codetel offices offer internet access but lack the ambiance of sitting there sipping Presidente while surfing.

I'll most likely check out the new one at the Costalunga this weekend while I'm there.

I believe there's one on the Conde in Santo Domingo. I saw the signs the last time I was there. I'm going to try it out on my next trip there. If I remember correctly, I think it's right across from KFC or very close. It didn't look like a cafe, but from the signs it looked like they give you Internet access.

I saw a sign for a new cybercafe last month. The location of the
cafe is somewhere near Ave Winston Churchill. The name and
address I forget. The sign (banner actually) advertising it is
on Ave Francia in front of Iberoamerican University (UNIBE).
There is an internet access store under the Church's fried
chicken on Maximo Gomez but I do not believe it is a cafe type
environment. Also, on El Conde there is another internet access
store. Prices are reasonable from what I recall. Several of the
Tricom offices/centres also may have internet access. Give them
a call. Their operators all speak english in case your spanish
