Boozin it up in Santo Domingo

A group of 10 guys are traveling to the Dominican Republic. Staying in Santo Domingo on the Malecon. What are must sees? We would also like to venture out to other parts of the island. Recommendations? We love to party, swim, booze it up, party and more party....

It's only 10 minutes from the Santo Domingo airport, about 25 minutes from the capital itself. Great beach, lots of bars and nightlife, plenty of restaurants. Oh yeah, and did I mention the beach?!

Boca Chica is the party capital of the island's beach towns.

Mike, check out 8 Puertas (8 Doors). It's a bar that reopened in the Colonial Zone, which you'll be near, and it's supposed to be really cool. Also, if you dont mind a 3-hour drive, check out Cabarete. It's a windsurfing town with a great vibe. 8 Gay men going to the DR in July. We love to party, swim, and sight see. We want to visit not only Santo Domingo, where we are staying but surrounding cities as well in the DR that are gay friendly, if not gay accommodating.Thanks.
