Default Private Spanish Lessons

I know this is a long shot, but Im hoping that maybe somebody reading this could point me in the right direction...

Im looking for a Dominican to give private Spanish lessons in the Montreal area. I've tried all of the Language schools, but theire instructors are all South American, and the dialects are so different!

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Vanessa

Call the Dominican Consulate at (011-514) 284-5455/6600

They may know someone who can help you.

There's not that much difference in what you call "dialect".It's better to take the courses at school than learn it on the streets. At least people from other Latino countries will be able to understand you.

What was that all about??!! "are you looking for a Dominican husband too?" I thought my question was innocent enough!!?
And yes Ed I would agree, but I've already taken many leeson in school, and am now at a point where I can hold a conversation and just want to improve on my comunication skills...but thanks for the advice. *s*

Hi Vanessa,
I think you're in the Montreal area. Hit the Latino Discos Salsateque etc. I'm sure you'll meet some Latinos male or female to improve your spanish and have a good time at the same time.
