Looking for a hotel in POP for 2 weeks?

I hope someone can help me, I am possibly looking for an apartment in POP for 2 weeks in August. I have no idea where to look and what prices are good and what prices are not. Playa Dorada would be ideal, but really it doesn't matter POP or Sosua is more than ok!

If you could direct me in anyway, I'd appreciate it greatly!

You could always check with us, if you are not looking for an all-inclusive. We are located in a quiet area, close to downtown, to Puerto Plata Beach Resort & Casino.

I recommend Villas Olas Tropicales if you want peace and quiet and a break from the "summer camp for adults" atmosphere found in a lot of all inclusives. We enjoyed our stay there immensely, and Keith and Deysi are great hosts.

However, if you want an animation crew on the pool, large discos etc. this is not the place. If you are looking for all inclusives I will suggest Riu Mambo.
