You have to write her an invitation letter saying the dates you want her to come to visit you, that you will pay everyhting for her there and that she will be your entire responsability.
Then she has to go to Santo Domingo to the US Ambassy and deposit a visa request. It will take about 2 months or maybe more because we are approaching the holidays. She needs to go there with a passport and her identity card, the new one, otherwhise It will not work.

She needs your adress, your passport number, you phone number and your full name.

Good luck

Dear Carlos,

I am trying to bring my boyfriend to Canada from the DR for a holiday and I have heard from many many people, that it is nearly impossible, unless they have.....money. Although getting a Canadian visitors visa may be harder that an American visa. It's really unfair that they need money to go on a holiday or they are denied. As far as I am concerned that is prejudism and totally unfair to the Dominicans!!!

I say we all protest to our governments, and try to change that discriminatory law against Dominicans!

Anyways, good luck and I hope it works for you!
