Prices in Sosua

Hola!

Me and my boyfriend is leaving for DR/Sosua 1th of june 2000.
Could anyone tell me what the normal prices are for dining in restarurants?
I would also like to now how much it cost to rent snorkeling equipment at the beach. How much will it cost to bye it instead??

Hi,
Expect to pay about the same or a little more or less (Depending where you're from)for meals at most restaurants. On the average a steak for example (Filet Mignon) goes for around US$10.00. Spaghetti US$5.00. (I'm converting from Dominican Pesos)
As for snorkeling, if you can buy it at a reasonable price, why not bring it down. You get to use it while on vacation and when you leave you can either sell it or give it to someone who deserved it. Have a nice vacation.

I have booked rooms at Casa Marina Reef (Not All-Inclusive), for 2 weeks.

How much is cheap when you speak of buying snorkeling eq.? How much in dollars? What does it cost to rent them instead??

Does anyone have any hints about what we should´nt miss (and what we should miss) when we´re in Sousa/DR???
