Do the math. We went to Puerto Plata last April, air and hotel all inclusive was $750 from Minnesota, US. I doubt we could've beat that getting our own airfare and booking our own hotel and eating out every meal. We did eat out a few times, usually cost more for the one meal than our all inclusive was for the entire day.
