Talking I hope this comes into fruition!

ATL-SDQ non-stop would be lovely! I would go twice a month if this route became reality. With me living in a lofty in downtown ATL I can hop on the MARTA ( Metro Rail for all non-ATL knowing people ) and be at the airport in no time! I'm going to the DR this weekend for a week and I'm stopping in Miami for memorial day saturday then flying out the next day on sunday moring to the DR (because of a cheaper deal on airtran and stoppign in miami to chill meet up with my 9 amigos who are coming with me!), not so bad but I wish sometimes I could lfy straight into the DR! Come on Delta.. You Can Do It! Hey Tone Loc how often do you visit The Dominican Republic?

I HATE connecting flights!!!!!!! You're right. ATL to DR is a bitch. The hoops you must jump through to pull it off...if people only knew. Miami is a complete waste of time. Flying into NYC sucks, as most flights are into Laguardia, not JFK.

Delta has a ways to go before they challenge AA. What's the deal with them only having one flight time anyway? What's the point? I hope they put more of an effort into this market.

JetBlue will be more of a player in this market, at least initially. They offer more flights and destinations than Delta, and cheaper regular fares than AA, Continental, and USAir.
