So can you make this work when there isn't a massive economic difference between you and your partner?
For it to be a true test, that factor needs to not be a part of the equation. Cynics would say that the only reason these women put up with these conditions is that it gives them some relief from financial pressure, of which this country is under a tremendous amount currently.
