I beg to differ.
It's been my experience that he buys from the same suppliers as we do and is nowhere near as fussy about quality as we are, then he has to mark it up a fair bit, and he will sell you products that are too old and sometimes have gone bad.
I know it's difficult to get any decent meat from the supermarkets, but I would guess that you have a better chance of finding good fresh tender cuts from Productos Sosua and Playero, and at a better price, as well.
