Default Happily married and doing well

Hi, I live with my husband here in England and everything is going well. The hardest part is one partner having to adjust to a new country and surroundings, England is a far cry from the DR - but it is possible to adjust and make a new life. We don't have many issues with culture, my husband was working withing 2 of getting here and has happily taken everything in his stride. Like I say the hardest part is the being a new country which is completely different from what you are used to, we don't gather on streets here and chat, although I hate to say it, the English are a unsocialble race unless we're drunk LOL (well I guess our unfortunate weather has a lot to do with it )

Problems are what you make them, we believe that relationships are about understanding eachother and working with one another to achieve what you want as a couple. Being from different cultures hasn't by any means been negative on our relationship but enriched both of us as individuals. We both have a better perspective of life and what it has to offer and what is important and what is not.
