My story is a little long and I would love any input from the expertise I have seen here

It all started about 6 years ago. I traveller 2-3 times ayear to Santo Domingo with a friend of mine who travels several times a year for work. ( Canadian company in Santo Domingo). On these trip I have met a man who was a teacher in a local school. We became very good friends and I always looked forward to seeing him when I returned. However in 2003 due to changes in my work schedule I was unable to continue the trips as before.

Fast forward 3 yrs a group of my girlfirends and I decided to take a vacation to Punta Cana AI. Within the first day I was sitting by the pool only to hear someone calling my name. IT WAS HIM!! Shocked would be an understatement for both of us. We spent the next several hours catching up and needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. He is now working in Animation at this AI.

I guess my concerns are as following;
1) why would someone leave a teaching job to work in animation?

2) We have stayed in contact since however, I have also read many threads on this site and is it true about ALL animation? Did he change jobs to become a Sankie?

3) I know there has been sucessful relationships, could this possibly be one?

I will note he has never asked me for anything and he calls as much as I call him ( we take turns)

I am really confused right now and any input would be great
