It all started about 6 years ago. I traveller 2-3 times ayear to Santo Domingo with a friend of mine who travels several times a year for work. ( Canadian company in Santo Domingo). Shocked would be an understatement for both of us. We spent the next several hours catching up and needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. He is now working in Animation at this AI.
I guess my concerns are as following;
1) why would someone leave a teaching job to work in animation? ... better business opportunites. New batch of clients/customers every week.
2) We have stayed in contact since however, I have also read many threads on this site and is it true about ALL animation? Did he change jobs to become a Sankie? ... sankie's mo - keep in contact with clients, like Ma Bell ... reach out and touch!!!!!!
3) I know there has been sucessful relationships, could this possibly be one? ... you haven't started one yet, why ask if it will be successful?
I will note he has never asked me for anything and he calls as much as I call him ( we take turns) ... Don't be impatient, he'll start soon ... just the way he likes it, the line has been cast, wait for the nibble, then start reeling in the catch

You're not the only one. Many other tourists (perhaps males and females, they swing both ways) are in the same emotional state.
