i'm buying a 200 meter raw land crisscross from the shell gas station(burger king).i went thru there and most of the people buying in that part are foreigners.nice place,close to church,still safeand alot cheaper on that side of las americas hwy.
i'm buying from a man name israel.i got his # from all the signs along the (subdivison) development's roads and thru a fellow from the iglesia de dios de la prophecia who knew him.
i need a lawyer from the boca chica area to check title,survey the land,check for back taxes,u know....etc.,make sure all is well and in order.
anyone got some good references.the last thing i want is 10yrs from now the gov. bulldozen down my house cause i went the cheap route.

p.s went to boca chica in aug. for 8 days.meet some good people from church
had a wonderful time.came home for 2 weeks to make just enough money to come back for 20 days.my friend juan carlos- plays the piano for the church in boca chica like no one i know-awesome.we rented a car and went to his grandparents in the campo la samana.lived off the land,bathed in the river,went to church,cascada el limon,meet all his family and friends from the south coast all the way to the north coast.i didnt know someone could know so many people!i learned a lil spanish,got to see all of the country.i was happy and living life!came back to boca chica found this parcel of land in my price range.looking to make d.r. my home for retirement in 20 yrs.
i'm now going to school taking spanish lessons.i have good people from church that are going to build my house all i have to do now is get the land.
just wanted all to know i love it in d.r. with everything that going on good and bad.
