Quick question:
I am currently dating a Dominicano from Sousa.I met him up here about 3 months ago. Obviously, he had a girl who brought him from RD to Toronto but they were living common-law and they both have split up now.
I reviewed the other posts and observed that most of the advise shows that if a man asks you to marry him after a few days he could be a possible sankie...Well, this guy i have been dating has asked me to marry him and to have kids with him and live with him. Is this normal in the Dominican culture?

Oh, we have gone out on many dates and he has always pays for everything. He states that a woman should never have to use her money on a man.
He makes good money here in Toronto but it's really weird how fast dominicanos move. Always quick to say i love you, i want you....It's crazy. Do you guys ever slow down?

I love to live for the moment but i have to think about those big decisions........

Please comment..I'm very interested to see the feedback....

Cold nights fast approaching here in the Great White North, gotta find a 'hot Dominican' to replace the electric blankie!!!???

You have to ask yourself, why did they split after she obviously expended time and money to get him here? if he's making good money, what type of job is he doing and have you seen where he works? is he a U of T grad in Computer Science and is now at RIM? ... just a hunch, I suspect he's plying the sankie trade here in the land of plenty (potential victims).

The signs are pointing towards a sankie - capital investment, quick with flattery, marriage and kids, lots of promises ... you know that adage, once a sankie always a sankie!!!!
