Sorry if this is old hat but to my wife this is important......Are mosquitoes a big problem in DR? We are booked to go to Punta Cana in August and she is getting paranoid. Is there a "season" for mossies, or are they an all year thing? I have read a lot about DEET based repellents, but my better half is more worried about the number them rather than trying to fend them off?.......sorry to be repetitive.
