My Dominican love seems to think that we can get married and leave for the states together. To me, and based on all these posts, it seems a bit more complicated than that. If the process for marriage and visa only takes a week, fine, I can manage in one quick trip. But it sounds like there is much more to it than that. His friends seem to think it is fairly simple too.
