Hi, Squat -

I've looked at a couple of websites for Las Terrenas. It looks and sounds pretty nice. Are the breezes consistent year round?

Based on several of your posts in this thread, it seems you're very happily settled into a comfortable life there.

Are there any language schools or tutors in town, for working on my Spanish? I do fairly well, but there's always a lot of room for improvement. It's a good activity to keep the brain supple, and a good way to meet and mix with locals, too.

At this stage, I'm looking for places to visit for a week or two at a time, staying in a rented apartment/bungalow with kitchen etc., to get a good feel for different areas of the island.

If I end up coming to spend some time in Las Terrenas, I'll see if you can give me any recommendations.

Thanks,

P3
