I live in Rhode Island (USA) and we get hit by hurricanes just like many states on the east coast. Even though the forecasters are just giving projections, we (Rhode Islanders) wait till the last minute to prepare and get our supplies. We run to the stores on the last possible day and cause pandimonium. Are we unique? or should I expect the same for people in the DR?
