That reply also goes for the people that travel to the DR. I arrive on Thursday and leave the following Tuesday. I decided to bring a couple of large candles and a flashlight with extra batteries (just in case).
I checked my flight status to be surprised that the plane is only half full. Last week my flight had a few available seats left. Did a lot of people get scared? Am I crazy for coming? I think not. What better place to be stranded than the DR. (I do plan to bring a little extra $USD)
