I can't get at the server with the story on the so called improvements to be done. Must be overloaded with all the DR1-ers trying to read what seems to be a ridiculous plan. The impact will be severe if it goes as described. There is some good about getting the cars off the streets. The concept of yielding to oncoming traffic in a third lane will be very interesting to observe and a potential nightmare to drive with it.
For the good of the many, a bypass road somewhere (sorry BobK, if it ends up going by the mansion
) would be a better plan if the swamp can be overcome.
Bottom line is that I don't expect either soution to happen.
