Most people I know can only go down on the Holidays for like 4-5 days, so time is of the essence. You don't always have time for "tomorrow", or "I have to get my hair done" etc.
Plus online is a great way for travelers to meet girls outside of the tourist areas. Then they always have cousins or brothers that want to hang and they don't mind introducing you to even more girls.
