Ah yes, and since it is relevant to the DR -- especially given all the development people are trying to put up in the coastal zones -- is the World Bank's discussion paper on implications of possible sea level rise (SLR) linked to global climate change. I reviewed/discussed that one too. The Bank did not assess likelihood of SLR so much as what would be the impacts at different SLR levels on six factors: land; population; gross domestic product (GDP); urban extent; agricultural extent; wetlands.
