The center of Olga has been running along the Northern Coast of Puerto Rico and is now over the Mona Passage. The center of the storm is not really the issue for us however as the heavy rains and strong winds are well removed from the center.

Most everyone over the South Eastern part of the country should be seeing some effects from Olga now. It seems as if interaction with land and other factors overnight slightly weakened the storm.

The track is still straight across the DR, starting from the East and riding up just inside the South Coast. This passage over land should weaken the storm as well, but again, our problem is rain, floods, flash floods, mudslides and storm surge, and not so much high winds.

Let us know what it looks like in your area.
