Just a couple of brief updates: very interesting argument here that decision was taken deliberately so that President could subsequently boost his flagging approval ratings by appearing as the 'saviour' with house building programmes etc. I don't go along with this personally (think it is much more to do with panicking & incompetence) but.............very interesting that it has been published. Freedom of the press goes up in my view.
