as with any beach front property you cant stand on the site and see how high you are above sea level !!!!! if that is where your house will be. that is all that matters, not how high the town is down the road!!!
everyplace with in a cerain height of the beach or sea level will be suspect to dangers from hurricanes and drastic low pressure systems along with corresponding high tides.
beach front property 20 feet above the beach itself is better than beach front property that is only ten feet about the beach!! and they can be only 1/2 mile apart!!!!!heck they can only be 300 yards apart!!!
