I hope that you find true happiness. Unfortunately the other women in his life, will not understand this, and will choose to ignore it. It is too bad, but trust me they will learn and unfortunately it will be the hard way. Just count your blessings that you got out. Not all Dominicanos are sankies, and sankies are not just located in the DR...they are found all over the world. Unfortunately it gives Dominicanos a bad name. It is too bad that sankies exisit but they will never go away. So you just need to protect yourself from them, and know the signs. This site helps, as well as sharing your story, not just on here, but with others travelling to other countries so they are aware too.
