new to this thread thing. just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a safe, reasonably priced place that my boyfriend and i can stay in for a night or 2 in boca chica or juan dolio. we don't need air conditioning or anything special like tv. we are in our 60's and eventually headed to las terrenas or las galeras - would appreciate a rec for either of those places too. anything $40 and up would work. heard from hotel zapata - $70 for a room - is that the going rate these days? thanks so much to you all for the amazing amount of info you share.
