because I have had some problems with them and their warranty. This is the old Bambusa company, now named Mobel, and is located just outside of Santiago(going direction of the capital) on the right side of the autopista. I bought about $ 9,000 USD worth of rattan and wicker style furniture from them in which they assured me came with a 5 year warranty, since they make it, they said, they'll stand behind it. However, after less than 4 months, we've had frames start to come apart, finishes smudging off, and worst, ALL of the upholstered cushions have deformed and flattened into an unshapely mess (this was a concern before purchase and was assured at "least five years" before compression, etc.). After months calling, going by, and still receiving the "call back tommorrow routine", we were finally told last week that they could not redo the cushions because we were "sitting on the furniture too much" and the warranty would not apply. Needless to say, I regret the fact that we made this purchase and would warn anyone considering buying from them that regardless of the pre-sell promises, they do not honor their warranty.
