Burning fosil fuel is a crime

It is a limited resource with infinitve applications other than burning it for transportation and heating. Look around and try to find something made without petrol.
Hard to find isn't it?
Add to this the rise in fuel prices ( ex ceo of shell predicted last month a price of 200$/barril in the thirth or fourth quarter of 2008)
Biofuel can be a valid alternative, all be it a partielle one.
Look at the vegetable oil we're trowing away.
Large parts of it can be recuperated for heating and transportation
Is this a crime.... No common sence
Different types of lands are unsuitable for traditional agriculture. Can we use them to harvest additional crops for fuel.
Is this a crime.... No common sence

replacing foodcrops par fuelcrops is common sence for farmers if they get more for the latter

I believe in common sence

Greetings
