My wife Kendra and I (Ron) are staying at the Zapata until March 12, leaving Boston on Feb. 19. We have been all over the DR and would like to find travel mates. Our email which we'll have on our laptop is

We want to attend the carnival at La Vega this year. If you haven't experienced it, and you love the DR culture as we do, it will be a most memorable day! Google La Vega Carnival.
I like to snorkel and need a partner as Kendra is a beach gal mostly.
Have you done a night in the Colonial Zone? Wow. Lots of fun and culture.
We have some great spots to visit in the Puerto Plata area as well. The beach at nearby Sosua is incredible. We"ll look forward to seeing you all at some point. I am a retired Spanish speaking history teacher and folk singer from Mass.
