Fernandez. Not sure if I can give you times and dates. last summer there were 7 or 8 drownings. They occur off the beach at the new Maxim bungalows and next door at the Marbella construction. Mostly construction workers going in for a dip, but also a Frenchman who was known as a good swimmer. This is the first one this year.
Conditions were good - the problem is unless you know the ocean well it is hard to see current, both undertows and whirlpools.
I will write to the Tourist development association as see if they have any plans to do anything
