Post OLD, OLD Cédula...

Ok, let me try and keep it as simple as possible. I left the island back in... '83. I was fourteen then and managed to get a cédula (the paper kind). I have never gotten that renewed EVER.

I've been living in the US since and my parents having acquired US citizenship, passed it down to me as their child. I have visited the country on two occasions, but on neither visit did I have time to go through the process of getting it renewed/replaced to the new system.

Is it possible to do that from abroad (US) provided I present the appropriate paperwork (birth certificate and old cédula) and if so, where?

Thanks.
