Canajungirl, I understand what you are saying about the government wanting to protect people. But the thing we are finding frustrating is the GAMES they play. If they want us to wait...TELL US...it's quite simple......Dear Sir, we have started your application we will take 17 months. DO NOT tell us 6 months. Also DO NOT call us and get our hopes up for NOTHING. That's what Castro and I are going through. I totally understand the government would want to make sure everything is 'up & up', but I would rather them be straight up and be completely honest. I have a daughter and wife that I have been trying to get here, now for awhile.....I lived in DR with them for awhile, but after talking we both know that moving to Canada would hold a much better future.
