I will also ask that you continue to post. By the time you are in the middle of this process there will be others just starting. Your information will become invaluable to them
I have also found that it got harder after the application was sent in. I researched information both here and on the CIC website and knew the stats. that only "30% of cases are finalized in 8 months etc etc". I started off being patient and positive. But after the papers being in Haiti for 20 weeks and still no change on the website and reading about others who are only a couple months in and their status has updated it's gets harder and harder to remain patient and positive.
If it wasn't for the posts of Fireman, Caredbl, Lexi and Eve_bebe I wouldn't know that someone who filed just before me and 4 applications after me have all gone to In process and I wouldn't know exactly when that happened.
If it wasn't for the posts of Castro, Mart and Marxsis I wouldn't know the types of problems that people are currently having and why their papers are delayed.
I only hope that I am able to pay it forward
