Here's what i would do....get a friend, to act like your lawyer....have them meet with her in a public place with letter in hand, once they have the letter .. read it...tear it to shreds right infront of her!! technically it's your letter...you wrote it!!
or spill your coffee, all over it!!
photocopies can me manipulated and doubtful they would ever work in court! And simply say in court!! i'd like to see the original?? this is a fraud.
