Someone had mentioned that the DR's mail system doesn't work. Anyone want to elaborate on this for me? I was laying bed wondering how people get their bills and stuff if the mail system there is unsuccessful...but then, maybe I'm just not understanding fully what was meant by "doesn't work".
I'm very curious how the home addresses are laid out. Here in Canada it's
NAME
UNIT/STREET,
CITY, PROVINCE
POSTAL CODE
then COUNTRY if sending internationally.
I'm still trying to understand which places are province names, city names, regional names...it's hard trying to differentiate between all that when you lack geographical understanding of the DR.
